Medical Doctor (Cardiologist), Specialist/Instructor in Social Medicine.
Involved in the development, management, and operation of the electronic medical record (EMR) system at Osaka University Hospital, promoting the utilization of EMR data in clinical research.
At the Osaka Clinical Research Network, implemented a clinical information collection system, an image collection system, a sample information management system, and a multicenter common data warehouse in participating hospitals, enabling efficient and high-quality clinical data collection across multiple institutions.
Actively engaged in national medical digital transformation (DX) initiatives as a member of the Medical Information Utilization Working Group. Additionally, involved in the development of cybersecurity personnel for the medical field and the promotion of patient safety in medical DX.
In hospital medical DX, leading efforts to support outpatient care and share clinical information through patient smartphones (PHR: Personal Health Record), aiming to establish patient-participatory clinical research utilizing PHR.
